PM2.5 and PM10 are fine particulate matter pollutants found in Delhi’s air. PM2.5 is smaller than 2.5 micrometers and penetrates deep into the lungs, while PM10 affects the upper respiratory tract. Both can cause asthma, COPD, and other lung diseases.
